What is a "FundraisoMeter"?
What does the KickFall support?

The FundraisoMeter tracks funds raised for fantastic charities across Kansas City—Keep checking back to track our progress. The total dollars raised are the sum of team registration fees, corporate sponsorships and individual fundraising efforts. 100% of team registration fees will be given to the designated charities of the top three finishing teams. Individuals are encouraged to raise additional dollars above and beyond their registration fees - 100% of which will go to their team’s specific charity.

About Founders

Anthony

Anthony Hancox – Anthony has a passion for grass roots charity events. In addition to being a Kickfall founder he helped create Caeden’s Cause for Autism, raising over $20,000 for Autism awareness. He also volunteers at his church of ten years, Heartland Community Church. Anthony is a product of the Kansas City area growing up in Independence, MO and attending Missouri State University. After joining Sprint in 1999 on the Finance team, he moved to Garmin where is he is the Manager of Financial Planning. Anthony and his wife of eight years, Kelly reside in Leawood, KS.

Matt

Matt Wildman - Matt was born and raised here in Kansas City and graduated from Kansas State University. After spending a few years in Chicago, he moved back to join Cerner Corporation where he is currently the Director of Sales for Cerner’s Ambulatory Enterprise. He married his wife, Laura, in 2003 and they have a son, Cade, and a daughter, Paige. They currently live in Prairie Village. Matt also serves on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is a 2007 graduate of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions Leadership Development Program.

Richard

Richard Wetzel - born in Minneapolis and raised in Denver, Richard moved to Kansas City after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas in 1994, and received his MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2001. A registered architect, Richard is a founding partner and co-owner of Centric Projects, a general contracting firm in Kansas City. He recently served as president of the American Institute of Architects Kansas City chapter and as chair and a founding director of Impact KC, a member-driven foundation. He also serves on the board and as Property Committee chair for the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NE Missouri. He and his wife Mary, a non-profit development consultant, live in the Brookside area of Kansas City, Missouri with their two children, Janey, 4, and Griffin, 2.

Shawn

Shawn Hickey - You might've already seen Shawn refereeing at the 1st KickFall Classic last year ("I didn't make a lot of friends that day"). He is also a regular volunteer for YouthFriends and enjoys taking an active role in contributing to the community. Born and raised in Overland Park, Shawn graduated from Kansas State University and holds the position of Product Manager at Perceptive Software. He resides in Leawood with his wife Melissa, and their daughter Kate.

Stephen

Stephen Valenti - born in Rochester, NY where he lived for 13 years before his family moved to Glastonbury, CT. He moved to Overland Park, KS during his sophomore year of high school and graduated from Blue Valley High School. Stephen moved back to Rochester to receive his BFA in Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. When he graduated, he moved back to Overland Park to be with his family. Stephen now lives in Mission, KS and is the Director of eCommerce for the Kansas City Sports Commission. He is also VP of Registration on the Tour de BBQ board which supports the LiveSTRONG Army of Kansas City.
